Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that it can sometimes be confusing when registering your child for classes. There is a lot of information to take in, so we've put together some frequently asked questions to help you in the process.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due the first week of each new session. A 10% late fee will be added to any unpaid tuition after the first week.
What is your refund policy?
We evaluate each situation concerning refunds. We will gladly apply a credit on the account toward future classes if deemed appropriate. However, we have a NO REFUNDS policy.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and check only at this time. Please make checks payable to Dardano’s School of Gymnastics.
Do you offer a free trial class?
At this time, we only offer a free trial class for our Parent Toddler classes.
Do you offer make-ups for missed classes?
Unfortunately, we do not offer make-ups. Enrollment in our program is with the understanding that you are paying for the spot in the class. Many of our classes are full and on wait lists which make it difficult to allow a make-up in a different class. If the gym is closed due to a holiday or weather related closure, a make-up day will be scheduled.
How many days a week can we attend class?
You can attend class one day or two days per week. If you would like to attend additional days please call the office for special pricing information.
What is your student/teacher ratio?
We maintain an 8-to-1 student/teacher ratio for our Pre School and Beginning/Intermediate classes. In our Parent Toddler classes, the parents are participating with the child in the class therefore we are able to allow more students in the gym.
What does my child wear to gymnastics classes?
Girls are encouraged to wear a leotard. Boys may wear athletic shorts/pants and a t-shirt. Nothing denim, with belt loops or buckles. Children are barefoot in the gym. No jewelry or chewing gum is allowed in the gym.
Are parents allowed inside the gym to watch classes?
We have two viewing areas for class observation. However, for the safety of our students and coaches, parents and spectators are NOT allowed inside the gymnastics area during classes. Parent Toddler classes exempt.
Do I need to re-register for each new session?
No, you do not need to re-register for each new session if you are currently in our program. Your spot is held session to session as long as your account is up to date. We do registrations for our summer sessions beginning Session #10 and our fall sessions beginning Session #1. All current and future members MUST re-register at these times.
How long do your sessions last?
Our sessions run for 4-weeks. You can start anytime within a session. We will prorate for new registrations.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, you can buy gift certificates toward classes and apparel.
How can I redeem coupons?
If you are a new member to Dardano's we will honor valid coupons for a free session with the purchase of a full 4-week session and membership fee. Coupon must be presented at the time of registration.
